I made a video about my winter. But really I used it as an excuse to brush up on my editing and timing skills. Tomorrow I shoot an event that means a lot to me and all the girls involved will get their own video. Good things are brewing!!

I challenged myself the other day to stay in a two foot area and capture as many unique and different shots as I could. All of these photos are from two challenges; one spot in the front yard, and one spot in the backyard. It was an amazing exercise in awareness and focus. You should try it sometime.
And now I am running off for the weekend... The Band has a show tonight in CT and tomorrow in NY and this cold didn't get the memo. Hopefully my fellow musicians don't mind the smell of garlic and echinacea. I know I've smelled worse coming from them!
Have a beautiful weekend,

It's been a busy couple of weeks around here. The band has been playing a lot of shows this month and we are all over the map from Vermont to Connecticut to New York. It's a rough schedule sometimes and keeps me out of the studio for too long, but once I step on that stage, it's all worth it.
The chickens are feeling the effects of this nice weather and have starting laying eggs at a super fast rate. I love checking on them every morning and being greeted by the smallest rooster you have ever seen. He thinks he's so bad ass! I will have to remember to post a picture of little Pepe.
I find that eating tacos a few nights a week is what keeps me happy so I allow myself to do it. Home made guacamole can keep me smiling for days. I once spent an entire summer eating nothing but guacamole. It was heaven.
I also just took a trip to the leather store. No, more like warehouse. I was like a fat kid in a candy store and I can't wait to get started. I am brimming with ideas!
This has also been a really busy month with custom orders and I can just barely keep up. Such a tremendous amount of support for my work out there and I so appreciate all of it. It's very easy to commit to doing what you love for income, but it's not so easy to pull it off and I am very grateful that it happens for me. And I couldn't do it without all of you, so thank you. I am ready to branch out and expand my horizons with new art forms and really dive into my photography more. This spring will see many new directions and I can't wait!

I am so happy it finally feels like spring! I have been working on so many new project ideas and this dash of warm weather is just fueling the creative fire. I feel blessed. I feel alive. I feel loved.
I feel anxious to share all sorts of great news... but for now i must be patient.
All good things in all good time.
